Yeah, it's like a really simple bioreactor, but you get to see some of the issues in my class, like contamination, outgassing control, batch versus continuous feed, measuring results, separation of solids and liquid product, genetic drift, etc. And I appear to be breeding for a yeast that can tolerate a higher percentage of alcohol.
